Seriously a couple of people are reading too much into it, it wasn't casual, formal or smart casual racism.

Unfortunately those are my four least favourite players, but I'll introduce a bit of positive discrimination into future criticisms. I hadn't even considered their ethnic heritage when watching them over the course of the season and deciding everything about them stinks.

Now that I've found out fried chicken is racist, can I ask if there are any other ways of cooking fowl that are sexist, homophobic or anything else. See, I'm a chef and I don't want to say or cook anything that could get me dismissed under equalities directives.

Joking aside - Shame a poster has suggested that the use of the term fried chicken was racist. Which was written amongst many things to indicate British football players predeliction for fast food and that these two don't seem to look after themselves as they don't care about the team. I didn't know why people jumped to the connection they did, as I say I don't think the eating of fast food is divided down racist lines, but maybe it is in some parts of the country.

But you live you learn. I'll stop batting my corner now, bit gutted I've had to. Never had that accusation chucked in my direction before.

I read it as a reference to the fact that they had inappropriate diets for professional athletes, and I'm as joylessly PC as they come. I hadn't noticed that all the players mentioned were black either.
