The Noses have a thread dripping with disingenuous mirth. They're hoping and preying he's a short back and sides man.

They are desperate for him to be what they ended up with. What they don't and never do realise is that they never have been an attractive prospect because there is nothing to them. No history, no support, no well of feeling for them, no renowned ground, poor facilities. The only chance they'd have is a fan making it big and buying them. From the outside they're as attractive as dog shit on the sole of your shoe.

You can bring someone to Villa Park, show them round, regale them with stories of Villa, take them the training ground, show them round our City and they'd know there is huge untapped potential.

That is why they, at the end of the day, always get losers, crooks and nobodies.

They're shitting it again that they'll get 2 matches against us next season, where we will be on the up again and they'll be there usual non entity club, we will get promoted and they'll be back to endless seasons of drifting along.

I think this guy has got the wherewithal and the minerals.  However and quite rightly he will want 'more bang for his buck'.  In other words he will invest all right but he will ensure not a penny is wasted and that hopefully comes with the decent management structure we have craved for years.  If Cook in particular is involved I'd be pleased with that because until his unfortunate end at citeh was a decent football administrator.

I want more bang for my buck too... seeing as I renewed last week at £575.00

Hollis added: “Don’t underestimate it, this is the largest overseas investment from mainland China in football over here. That is huge.”

YESSSSS... Make it rain baby :)

Is that true?

Carson bought that lot for more didn't he?

More than 60M? Yes I think so. But then again Hollis has already publicly stated Tony X paid way more than 60M for Villa. I dont think thats something he can lie about, misrepresenting terms of a sale is a big deal for the Chairman of a company so I beleive him when he says it.

Hong Kong isn't mainland China. The hairdryer dress paid for the Shite with £80million IOU a cut and blow.

According to SSN (I know) his companies had a combined turnover of £20bn last year, not sure Carson's chain of barber shops and hairdressers managed that....

Interesting, so Randy got more than 60m. Good, I'm pleased for him.

Onward and upward.

I read somewhere that Lerner will £100m if we get promoted next season, but the figure will be £60m if we don't.

Not too sure about Di Matteo as the new manager. Would he be strong enough to kick the malingerers into shape, if the new owner fails to pay them off? Might be another Remi... We don't need a nice guy at this point.

Whatever happens with this, and I'm sceptical of the new owners' motives and ability to finance a successful football team, look at this thread from SHA: Another Chinese Takeaway

It's like they're not even fans of their own team and that BCFC is entirely a vehicle for hating the Villa.

What am I saying? We are the reason they exist. It's fantastic. We're absolutely shite and still the only show in town. We would have to invent them if they didn't exist, as has been said numerous times before now.

If only there was some way of judging him. Like if, say, he'd taken over a team that had just been relegated having finished in rock bottom position before.

Oh wait, he did. He got them promoted.

Being "strong" doesn't just mean being able to strangle opponents and call journalists "ostrich".

As my mate once said "They have got a massive inferiority complex about us , but as complexes go , it's a well founded one."

To be fair most of them don't even hide it, I've a few nose mates who have encyclopaedic knowledge of Villa but wouldn't have a clue who their own teams next game was against, or care.
