Pat Murphy has just said our new owner is 42 so that one is cleared up for me, he also says he understands that RDM is to be manager.

I am a bit more interested in Keith Wyness now I have read his wikipedia page. He is good at making a profit. Keep an eye on him. I think the future of Bodymoor Heath is unsafe and perhaps even Villa Park with Mr Wyness at the helm.

Murphy called Dr X a 'grand fromage' of the Chinese business community. He also has a giant ray gun on an island in the South China Sea with which he intends to destroy the moon.

Beyond what he is worth, which is important, its who he surrounds himself with and who he chooses to run the club.

The absence of knowledge and a clear strategy in 2006 is what cost us in the long run. If we’re to get people in who have had success as CEO’s previously at other good clubs then that’s a start.

How come Nigel Pearson had two rounds of talks with Steve Hollis then?  Di Matteo never a mention until a couple of days ago.

RDM manager.  Jesus how boring.

I think I've unearthed a fact! Tone's been chairman of the board of Lotus since 2015.

When Pat Murphy say it's his understanding you'd better believe it. ;)

RDMs boringness brings to mind a line from "Albert and the Lion" by Stanley Holloway - "...no shipwrecks and nobody drownded, fact nothing to laff at at all".  Nobody being throttled, nobody being told to f*ck off and die, no ostriches.  Fact nothing to laff at at all.

It's right that people are cautious about the background of Dr Tony, and the value of his worth.
However, this guy is coming from a completely alien commercial, financial and cultural background to what we (think) we understand.
I am sure there are not many people on here who have a grasp of the nuances and reporting associated with Chinese high finance.

The most important thing for me is the Hollis is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable people to have conducted this sort of transaction, and I am sure he would have performed all sorts of due diligence and suitability checks against the prospective buyers.

Clearly, Hollis is happy that the Dr is the right man to take us on.
