Quote from the BBC website.

"The deal, which is subject to Football League approval, will see Xia take 100% ownership, says BBC Sport's Pat Murphy."

Randy's legacy neatly summarised in two words.

BBC Sport

Quote
Chinese businessman Dr Tony Xia has agreed to buy relegated Aston Villa for £60m.

The deal, which is subject to Football League approval, will see Xia take 100% ownership, says BBC Sport's Pat Murphy.

American billionaire Randy Lerner, who bought Villa in 2006 for £62.2m, had put the club up for sale in 2014.

The Midlands club's new manager - likely to be either Nigel Pearson or Roberto di Matteo - will not be announced until the deal is done.

More to follow.

Well this is exciting. I was starting to think we'd still have Eric Black in charge come August.

I do hope we keep hold of Hollis after all this - definitely a man of his word and action.

Well I'm not going to get too excited cos he could be like the chicken brothers at Blackburn or Carson Yeung at the blues for all i know.

But at least I know he's not Randy Fucking Lerner so that's something!

Then again, 10 years ago we were saying he's not Doug Ellis.

I am hoping that the cut-price is due to promise of funds etc....

This has left me in a "don't know" mode - but please please onward and upward.
