No money.

If what Pat Murphy says is true, I think it's only fair that we wait and see who this bloke is and what he's worth before we start suggesting that he's got no money.

We worry if it is a consortium, we worry it is one bloke with not enough money.

But we don't know who this bloke is or how much he's got. Why panic over someone we don't know a thing about?

I hope.....they have the means to pay our way out of the division.

I expect.....an average championship owner, occasionally flirting with the playoffs.

Why..... Because it's just typical Villa, kick us in the goolies.

I agree with you but I guess uncertainty makes (some) people worry.

Good morning Keith, I hope you've noticed that 99% of Villa fans don't like Pulis at all.
Keith.   Please let it be Nige.

And its a good morning from me Keith. Tell me something Keith. Would this gentleman approve of the sacking of low paid Aston Villa employees whilst paying extravagant salaries to those who have represented the club so poorly on the pitch?  Surely that is not an ethic the Chinese are known for...is it?

and yes Nigel Pearson or David Moyes would be greatly preferable to Di Matteo.

Murphy stated the words 'prominent Chinese businessman' in a later report.

Just googled "prominent Chinese business men and look at what popped up. http://www.china.org.cn/top10/2014-04/10/content_32050568_2.htm
Somebody dropped his name in about 20 pages back.
If it is Wang Jianlin he's only worth twenty billion quid. Oh and last year he bought a house next door to Kensington Palace so maybe the future King has had a word with him.

Interesting to note ( from the BBC article ) ,that " Wyness has been seen at Villa Park on match days recently and has started to follow Villa-related social media accounts " .Hopefully he has noted the ´vox populi ´on this particular site , does not want Pulis with 50 miles of Villa Park......Godzvilla!

I don't mind him being at the Baggies, let them suffer......

If De mateo is the new owners choice of manager , it says to me they havent got much money
What would Pearson, Dyche, Hughton, Bruce or any of the other likely contenders  say to you?

Pearson would probably say 'fuck off and die', Dyche would growl something incoherent and Bruce would slur 'I'm not an animal, I'm a human being'.

I think we're pretty much conditioned these days to assume that the worst case scenario is probably what will happen.

I see the Evening Mail today are saying it's a Chinese consortium. I think I'd rather believe Murphy.

I think, to be fair to lerner, that he will be doing a lot of homework on the potential owner and making sure that he isn't a Carson Yeung Mark 2. I hope so, anyway.

Why would you think that? Has Lerner done a lot of homework on anything whilst owning the Villa?

Either way, I'm just happy to be shot of Lerner, we are shelling money left right and centre, have no star players left, lose every week and have no solid structure at the club in any department. I'll take my chances with the Chinese guy.

Hope I'm wrong, but I believe there is no take over, in which case, were going to be fucked in the championship.

Company called the Wanda Group (avoiding saying anything about fishy in case I get punished) and lists its industry as real estate and culture. Sounds promising
