Well I only posted it as he is a fan and it is from his official account not a journo or other dubious source....

If it is true should he be tweeting it really?
Should who told him be telling him?

I like the response one person has put about being wary of Chinese owners because Tan at Cardiff was rash. It's like blaming the Irish for invading the Crimea.

Is Comolli the bloke who made a mess of things at Liverpool? He'd fit right in here.

Well let's be honest, he'll look like a genius compared to the bloke who's currently doing it.

I think it's fine for him to tweet it. I think he should tweet a lot more, in fact I think he should be encouraged to tweet about everything that ever occurs to him, every waking minute of his day. Anything that takes him away from writing more episodes of his execrable sitcom.

Commoli did get Suarez in at Liverpool, who wasn't too shabby.

He was part of two signings where the erroneous term Moneyball would actually be a correct description in Carroll setting up the subsequent Downing heist.

What a caper, taking them for twenty million for a weasel.

Yep, decent player who's just lost his way a bit. If he really wants to get back to the prem he could do worse than coming here and proving himself for a year. If we go up happy days, if not he might get a move to a big club like Spurs. That's assuming that he wants to further his career. If he's happy treading water in a footballing backwater then fuck him, Jordan Rhodes is gettable.

And Bale at Spurs

Who he'd signed as Spurs entry into the worst left back of the decade competition.

He was one injury to whoever it was away from being farmed out to B9, before being shoehorned into a wide left position out of desperation.

I could see the logic of Downing and Carrol just not the fees they paid

It wasn't really his call as to where on the pitch he was played. I'm pretty sure that Bale would have developed into a very good left-back if he'd been left there.

He did pay pretty much top dollar for someone joining from the Eredivisie though, £18 million wasn't it? From the reporting I think Suarez was viewed as a pretty safe bet, although I don't think anyone could have guessed at what happened next.
