With due respect gabby could command a 12-15 million fee and he's half as good as Martinez I suppose.

Just read my latest on line Heroes and Villians.
One thing is sure, who ever the new owners are, " you , wont fool the children of the revolution "

I know puns have been banned on here but I can't wait to see the first use of the headline 'Villa's Cultural Revolution.'

Hopefully we'll be taking a Great Leap Forward.

£18 million absolute minimum.

Then try and cash in on N'Zog for about £8 million and sell Westwood to AS Roma for cash plus Strootman.

Relegation?  What relegation.

That was an epic, Skillz, and written almost in pigeon-English; as befits your posts.
If I read it right - and assuming it was not cut / pasted from elsewhere (and then craftily stylised by you) - it makes a good case for the putative Chinese Takeover.
Beats turning Japanese.

I also would state that in next 5 10 years max China will be the global league and exceeds premier league.
There is absolutely no chance of that. May be in 30 to 50 years.

Within the Chinese market.  Like man city and Chelsea who use up pay over the odds for players to entice them it's the same for the Chinese super league.

I would score gabby around 2 to 3 mil mark.
Add on 10 million for the sale to China  It's all very interesting

How long did it take city to win the league title and granted they haven't won Europe yet so only go and get in pep guardiola the best football manager you can get . His ethos and development will hold city in good stead as will the impact to China due to part owning city.
Therefore I argue a case China will have a big say as football is business and money.  It's known that within 15 years China will have biggest economy they already have biggest population so it only stands of they want to have best league they can have it and no way will it take 50 years .

The Chinese market is fertile ground. It has exploded in basketball for example where they are paying stupid money for decent players. We are starting to see it in football too. There is some serious dough there. We just have to hope, if that is where our new owner is from, that we are getting someone who is committed to winning and making us successful as opposed to someone just happy to own a football club in England.

I think we'd be lucky to get 15 - 18p for Gabby.

If that's 15-18p a pound we still might make a killing.
