I'm hoping they'll be able to call it the home of Premier League Champions.

If it is the Chinese consortium with the Chinese Government involved which is being reported, I hope they don't expect me to join the communist party, also they better not try to change the the kit colour to red and add more stars to our badge,  well not until we have won the champions league again....
I wonder what they will call Villa park when it is renamed

Villa Park.

No one's going to pay enough money to rename Villa Park to make it worth while.

How many people were calling St James's Park, The Sports Direct Arena for the 2 or 3 years that was it's official name.

Anyway if it is the Chinese group that's essentially their Government, the only reason they'd want to do it is a Man City style fudge to give extra "sponsorship" or shovel more cash into the club without falling foul of FFP.

In which case, fine, officially you can call it the Chairman Mao Memorial Sportsdome if you want. It will still be Villa Park.

yes of course the only reason it would be renamed is the owners wanting money for it
and of course it will always be referred to and known  as Villa park , to us and probably everyone else

Surely not, he wants nothing to do with us now. I will stick up for the man as genuine think he wanted to make us a top team and do blame MON for wasting money and wages on a pile of shite.

Not particularly. I'm very worried about a Chinese consortium though. And you should be too...

Because they are going to turn us all into fan ants wearing khaki uniforms and funny hats clutching copies of the little claret and blue book.
