I wonder if this is one of those carpe diem moments?
If we build it, they will come.

Or in the case of the North Stand; if they build it..
.

Price of steel is cheap in China at the minute!

It's quite high actually in the context of the last 6 months, but it is falling ( winky thing). Which means more Chinese steel exports in the next 6 months so maybe a new Chinese-built ground is a possibility. In Hurst St.

Doesn't the Chinese government have over $2 trillion they're seeking to invest in foreign assets? That might be why he chose a mob whose main shareholders are the Chinese government over Ellison.

Given the way they artificially peg their currency to the dollar how seriously do you take the accounts of businesses? Do any of our Chinese residents have more of a clue.

Please accept my apologies for spelling and what may be daft points or questions, my boy has just needed putting back to sleep and I'm in a haze.

I still think Ellison (if any of it was true) would've been a much safer bet.

I'm convinced that Oracle have never had any interest in us. It's a TBAR fantasy given air as said, for window dressing.

Are there any decent Chinese players? I assume some will suddenly be using Villa as a way of exposing themselves to the wider European market. And a way for the owners to create awareness for the club back in China.

Has anyone told these Chinese fellers that we've been relegated or that the Grandma of one of our high profile fans thinks they're very rude?

Well that's the thing, the company itself isn't cash rich but they're largely owned by the chinese state so they potentially have access to a huge amount of funds (as Ads mentioned above).  As I said a few pages back Chinese investment into Birmingham has been building steadily for a few years so I can understand them wanting to make a high profile club in the city as an advertisement of that.
