I don't know why you'd think that Pearson is such a clear favourite that he just has to snap his fingers to get the job, the guy is a nutjob, I can think of plenty of reasons why a board wouldn't want to work with him.

I work within the Finance area of the business, and I know zero of what is happening

Hollis is ex KPMG man, who has probably dealt with 100s of take overs of business's during his career, he is not going to LIE to us and more importantly to the employees of Aston Villa.

If he was lying then his reputation not only at Aston Villa, but in his other business life would be ruined.

He has said that things are progressing with regards to the take over (if it happens, lets hope that it is sold to the right person, who has the intention of putting Aston Villa back to the elite of the premier league)
