As has been mentioned a few pages back there is a fair bit of Chinese money coming into the city so I suspect any interest will be from people already investing in the city (or looking to invest in the city shortly) who are looking to build a brand and create interest in Birmingham. Aston as an area has a huge amount of potential for redevelopment and with HS2 coming any land within a couple of miles of eastside is only going to see it's value increase. If you create an investment company, put the club and the other developments into it the value of the other developments can offset short-term losses bringing the club back up and longer term the club gives the company a focal point. As has been mentioned it mirrors what has happened with Man City and like them we're a perfect club to look at for this because we have a big fan base and a well known name but right now we're very cheap for all that.

It would be a gamble.
