I changed my username because of a conversation like this. Now I look like a twat on a daily basis and not just because of the things I post.

Hardly. It's great to have women posting on here, especially with such sexy usernames. I love you posts, sweetie.

I'll see you around the back of the ice rink. I answer to the name of Kevin.

Oops! That reminds me of a time I was hitching it back up to Leeds and this really ugly, middle aged woman in a battered, old orange Morris Minor pulled up to give me a lift. As I'd been waiting for ages I didn't bother hanging around and was already with my bag on the back seat and sitting down before hearing "Where yer goin' love?" in this deep, deep Yorkshire accent, coming out what could only have been the biggest, size 12 booted, ex-mining transvestite ever to walk the planet.

Me and Chris Jameson have been mates ever since.

Tell you what they've only been here a couple of days but I'm loving what the new owners have done already. Sacking gabby with no payoff what a master stroke.

Who is Vanessa Phelps? Brian Phelps grannie?
Vanessa Felts used to have a show on the telly called the vanessa show , she is a big fat blonde woman who hasnt lost any weight but you would shag her  , she was a housemate on celebrity big brother once and lost the plot big time refusing to take part in tasks , since then she has been a regular on big brothers bit on the side , she is married to a black man , he had a song that was in the charts about 20 years ago called HEY WHATS GOING ON

Cant agree with you about shagging her. We stood behind her and her husband at passport control in Antigua a couple of years ago. Both are bloody horrible.

They are only working on it an hour a day.

It's so disappointing. I really thought it might be on this time.

Eerily similar to hoping we would stave off relegation. It's the hope that kills you.

Nothing happening. Masterful timing by the club to try to rescue season ticket sales.

A long dreary and depressing summer awaits.

No one is stupid enough to fall for Lerner and his lackeys bluster anymore though, we all know they bullshit.

If he stays in charge next season, more doom awaits.

So, Brian Little is a liar too then? Or was the fan making it up about the takeover being close. Nothing would surprise me any more.

It's gone very very quiet. You would think the press would have a sniff if it was close and there is silence.

I'm clinging to the hope that, if talks are at an advanced stage (as we've been led to believe), then there must be airtight confidentiality agreements in place; no one on the verge of spunking £100m wants their business made public until the ink is dry, surely?

Plus, if things are close, the only people actively involved are hardly the type that would be whispering to the security bloke on the gate as they leave VP.

I suspect option 2.

There's no way that Little is going to blab something like that to random fan taking pictures through the railings. Not if he wants to have any credibility anywhere in the game afterwards.

Depends whether they romantically nourish them!
