He'll see wastes of space like Agbonlahor stealing a wage from the club and think, "No, that sort of thing would make me bitter and twisted after I've worked hard to earn my fortune, I'm not going to give it away to the likes of that."

Perhaps this is the reason that PL clubs seem so difficult to off-load at the moment.

I think the advent of the new TV deal might change that. It would appear that we are now in a minority in terms of making a profit whereas, a few years ago, most clubs were operating at a loss. If a club is well run then I think there is money to be made now
