I suspect the uncertainty over whether the Champions League will become a closed shop is going to make us even less attractive to investors... or at least to the dream investor who spunks money into the club in the hope of doing a Man City.

For all the money spent, what have Man City ever done in the Chumps League ?

No-one has presented a credible fan ownership option which would work here, guess we will just have to keep waiting.

Meanwhile I can't see Randy cutting his losses and selling now - why would he? And those that are looking to buy us at a bargain are unlikely to be those best placed to invest in our future, they would be investing in themselves.

Floating the club on the stock exchange would work.  Or selling shares at £30 each to raise funds, just like Oviedo did.

random thought

in 58 years time it will be our 200 anniversary, some of our kids will be around to witness that,
and anyone under 30 might have a good chance to

I wonder what they will do ?

I think Randy will be gone by then though so the proud history bright future scarfs might not be making a comeback

Doug will probably still be knocking about

They'll get the 2021 FA Cup winning and 2032-34 League and Champions League winning squads back for a reunion.

Dr. Jo?

People slag him off, but he avoided relegation.

Bring him back!

Not sure why we'd want to invite a load of old Leicester players to the Villa anniversary game?

Is that the one where the Ferengi team just lay down and whilst we tickled their ears?

Do you think that you could get 10,000 people to cough up £5,000.00 each.
If you could raise £50,million you might be able to do something.
If you can not, then forget it.

I too can't really see it being an option, but surely there would be people out there willing to buy more than £5,000 worth?
Yes there would and some would chuck in less. £50million would be enough get to the negotiating table. How ownership and control is established is not a difficult problem.
Getting the Money is the difficult bit.

Fair play, so.

I always liked the way they rhymed Quin with ton in their song based on Bob Dylan's song made famous over here by beat combo Manfred Man.

Come on without
Come on within
You've not seen nothing
Like the mighty Evertin

Always loved the Z-Cars theme as well.

Just a shame almost all of their fans are ******.
