I was wondering, Lerner is said to be due to step down as Chairman even if the club isn't sold, therefore, there must be something going on because the board room shuffle hasn't happened and I would have thought they'd have had this in place by now, given we are only four weeks shy of next season. Therefore, in my tiny mind, there IS a takeover happening!

Or they're still looking for a chairman? I must admit to being slightly perplexed by the "nothing is happening therefore it means something must be happening!" theory.

I would prefer to hear  from the club owner not the team manager regarding this development if in fact it is correct. Sherwood is going to look pretty stupid if it goes through in the next few weeks!
