Has anybody else heard that everything at VP is closed on Wednesday for an announcement? Sounds like bull to me. I mean, why close anything, even if their was one?

Still, easy enough to check out for someone with the inclination and time on their hands.

Indeed.

I'd also be surprised if any such meeting were held at Villa Park - surely the vast majority of permanent club staff are based at BMH, particularly out of season?

I'll try and get through the turnstiles on Wednesday. If I can't...

There's still a lot of office and shop staff at Villa Park; more than at Bodymoor.

Anyway, the general feeling is that this is a rally the troops, we're all in it together, sing the company song type of address than anything significant.

The 'rumour', such as it is (fact according to a bloke at work), is that it is a press conference to announce the new owner, not a meeting.

So it's Japanese owners then!

Edit:
Should have added we should see how long that one takes to get picked up and translated into the latest "fact".

SSN: Pete Colley paid up his £100 bet (re: the club being sold before pre-season training starts) and TS made it clear that it would be donated to Acorns. Good man.

I think somebody should call up the Villa and find out what their postcode is, see if this meeting is legit.

Do we know what type of biscuits will be served at this meeting?

and £100 on Benteke staying at Villa
and said Gueye was looking good to sign

I've been doing some digging and got through to a lady, told her I was coming for a meeting to meet Randy Lerner and Tom Fox on Wednesday and needed the postcode.

Anyway, it's B6 6HE! We're being sold anyday now you know.
