I'm all for a bit of "he'll be offski" about players when it really does look inevitable, but all of them? Really? Inevitable?

And, not being funny, but if you look at the meaning of the term, Vlaar hasn't really been the backbone of anything, has he? Even without getting on to his effectiveness on the pitch, he's injured way too much to be described as that.
