Everything you could want to know here. That's the rules as they are, rather than the proposed changes.

Basically as long as your loss is less than £105m over three seasons and your total wage bill is below £52m then you're hunky-dory.

When you get into European competition it gets a bit stricter, the loss can be no more than 45m euros over three seasons.

So what we're saying is that we could receive a cash injection from anew owner up to the value of £35m each year(as long as injection is converted to equity) but we better not qualify for Europe otherwise we'll fall foul of UEFA FFP.

What I don't get is:

The plans to make the FFP rules stricter were thrown out by European Court the other day on the grounds that they restrict the free glow of capital.

Surely, on the same basis, ANY such rules could be thrown out?

If it glows it is probably radioactive like Cher Nobel and Fucky Sheena. Just say no.

You've gotta believe that those gypsys, tramps and thieves commonly known as UEFA wish they could turn back time with FFP.

Agreed.  Sadly, this is what supporting a football team has become.

Agreed  because fuck money means those clubs can get away with shit signings as they have the money to simply go out and buy another player. The majority of clubs don't have that luxury and also have to gamble more on the quality of their signings. Something that as a club we have done.

The problem with the Prem League version of FFP is it was voted in by the clubs.

So imagine some multi zillionaire brought us to you think the rest of the clubs will vote to allow us to spend more ..hardly..as it was at the last vote I think it was only 3/4 one of which was us who voted against FFP.

We certainly need something to happen.  At the moment it looks inevitable that Vlaar, Delph and Benteke will all leave.  Thats the spine of the team.

We are 100% certainties for relegation as things stand.

"As things stand", if I think about the combined squads of Bournemouth, Norwich, Watford, Newcastle, Sunderland and West Brom I can think of about half a dozen players that I would want in our team.

Which four of those are "100% certainties" to finish above us?

'As thing stand' we still have our squad intact and have added Micah Richards.  I'm all for a bit of misery but it's not even July yet.

Maybe he thinks that having Enda Stevens on our books was our lucky charm to ward of relegation.

We have added Sinclair and Richards to our squad, which I think makes us a lot stronger than we were in August 2014, or the previous two seasons. Actual Premier League standard players on the books, who'd have thought it.
