Maybe that's why the kit and sponsors aren't announced, our new owners want their own brand on the shirt...

Or the "Do not buy from unofficial traders" edict that led to the badge sellers outside the ground being threatened.

Yep, another classic. And when they took out a full page ad in the paper calling for sty dwellers to boycott supermarkets for daring to refuse to stock their soft porn rag newspaper.

Christ you could write a book about their antics at the Sty.

When the Mail huts around town had the "Blues sign Premier League star" headline on the advertising boards. It was Paul Furlong.

When one of their supporters got Trading Standards onto them and Tom said that it wasn't fair because if Karren had a criminal record she wouldn't be able to visit Paul's family.

That's a new one for me, and it's up there with the best of 'em!

This was the cause.

Apparently at the next game an announcement was made for him to report to the nearest steward. At the mention of his name a lot of people looked round to see who it was that had grassed on Lady Brady. Not being daft, he waited a few minutes then quietly made his way to a chief steward, only to be told that there was no message and he wasn't wanted.

That isn't even funny. She's one nasty vindictive bitch.
Fair play to the fan.

All the same I can't help but have a grudging admiration for them for the spectacular sale for £80m and subsequent brink of extinction status it has bought with it.

In the early 90s when I lived in France a mate of mine had a Bluenose friend who was a decent bloke. His family, all diehard noses, had a sports business and dealt  with Ms Brady at the blues, and they said that they had never had such rude interactions with customers as they did with her - her, not Gullivan and Sold.

Were they reported for claiming to be a professional football club?

Remember they actually used to have the strapline 'the club that bears the city's name.'

Went to visit someone in Heartlands hospital yesterday. Drove past. They've got that posted outside the sty. The city didn't ask you to change your name.

A new website? Wow!

I haven't seen it yet, but I'd just like to say, it's fucking horrible.

They can't get the shade of claret right, the blue is all over the shop, the navigation is badly thought out, it won't let me log in to AVTV (wanted to watch the Kieran Richardson "Where I'm Going For My Holidays" video), and whoever did the typography needs to be shot.

What a mess.
