I'm really pleased that my plan of not showing my interest in buying us too early is slowly paying off. At this rate in about six months time I'll be able to pick the club up for the cost of my weekly pension.
And when I finalise the deal my first act as custodian of the club will be to reappoint the much maligned Ads as our manager. He was never given a fair crack of the whip first time round and I believe that with my financial clout behind him he will be able to take this club on an exciting journey.

Do you have a letter from Sir Alex recommending him?
Of course I do. I wouldn't do anything without first consulting Sir Alex and that includes buying players and bouncing the idea off him that I have for building social housing on Bodymoor Heath after all there's a perfectly good park opposite Villa Park where the players could train.

I'm a poor pensioner so I can't afford to buy the club, pay Ads what he's worth and bribe you. So I'm afraid you'll have to get a proper job, maybe as a fanzine editor.

Edit: I could let you have one of the new houses at Bodymoor Heath housing estate at cost price. Believe me it'll be just as classy as Chelmsley Wood.

The only way I would go back is of you bought me a racing car seat for the bench.

That's a bit steep. How about an Allegro seat?

The worrying thing with the value dropping too low is that you get into the territory of buyers chancers who have some money but not enough money and is usually from borrowing it.  There are too many clubs around that are dead on their feet because of this.  On the flip side it may make a 'good' buyer think I have another £50m spare to invest in the team.

If a group of us old age pensioners pooled our state pittance we might get a hedge fund to bankroll an AVFC buyout.   Since we are all slightly demented, Ads would be our perfect choice as manager and we could be known collectively as Ad's Army.

I'm not being fickle but Ads demand of a racing car seat for the dug out is too much. Anyway that nice Mr. O'Leary has expressed an interest in coming back.

If Ashley doubles his Tesco punt we could end up in his pocket as he sells off the toon for cash

We should start phoning in offers. I'm gonna start the ball rolling by offering Randy a tub of celebrations, Christmas sized (because I'm generous) a novelty T-shirt which says "I'm Randy" and a boots gift card that has 33 pence still loaded onto it.
I think that's more than generous. Incidentally, that's what we were paying Mo Salifou.

We should bring back Swap Shop and see what we can offer.

I was going to suggest we swap the entire club for Lionel Messi and then play him on his own. He'd still rack up more points on his own and get more shots on target than we will. The only problem is, if the club is valued at 100 mill. We'd be a bit short in the trade off. And we'd also have to play our home games at the Sty.

I like the idea of "Nad's Army" Ian.   We could have our own chant.    Go Nads!

Bloody hell. That combined with your demand (during your first season mind) of having a stand named after you seems a little excessive.
