It is TBAR once again.

PDC Lion (who was danlanza on here) swears blind he's heard it is about to happen. He lives in Lanzarote, so he's not exactly on the ground at Villa Park, but he knows someone who is a groundsman at Bodymoor Heath, which of course, is exactly the sort of employee who'd hear this sort of thing.

To be fair, he got the Tonev story only days after it had been in the Sun.

TBAR's twitter account is amusing. They send a tweet out saying something like "apparently there's a man with lots of money in Aston at the moment. Join our forum where we are discussing it".

What is the point? They all know that they are making shit up themselves. What are they getting out of it?

The three I remember from here who are involved over there were a right bunch of attention-seeking misfits, so my guess is attention. But not much apparently.

That's my number one question with people like that.  If they had genuine information then I could see why they might want to break it first, but when all they have is an absolute crock which is going to make them look idiotic when they are inevitably rumbled, why bother?  Another aspect I don't get is that unless it's a nose or bitter on a wind up, I can't see why they would want to willingly raise false hopes amongst their fellow fans either.

I went past Oracle, Reading yesterday on a train, couldn't see his car in the car park at Thames Valley Park either.
