We usually spend about 20m each summer nowadays so a reduction with the state the club is in wouldn't surprise me at all.

I think the signings of Joe Cole and Senderos indicate to me we're shopping in the bargain basement again albeit at least looking for players who do have some premier league experience as has been the requirement on here. Whether they have the quality (or in Cole's case can stay fit for more than 5 minutes) is very debatable.

Being reported the £10m includes wages

Sweet Jesus
Yes that's from the same journalist at the mirror who said we are to be bought by 2 American billionaires. Can't be right on both stories surely? Which is to be? My guess it is neither.

£10m is no problem, £40k a week on five free transfers. We've done 2, now give Barry £80k and spend the rest on the bloke who runs Milan's training and, ahem, 'dietary' program and we're laughing.

I see Randy's tenure as a rich fan who got the backroom a little wrong. And that little is big. No "football" person.

I see no aim to not spend money, lower expectations etc.

What was it that changed lerner's mind? Even after O'Neill we were being told by the General, they he and they (Lerner and the board) were in it for the long haul. Was it the divorce? Is it that he just wants to spend his time over there and doesn't want the distraction?

And we've spent half of it on wages for Cole and Senderos .
So we have £5m left. That's 2 more Bosmans on 2 year deals on £25k a week.

What happened to the £72M tv money plus a few more million from ST's? Oh, and we have a Billionaire owner who's beginning to make Deadly look generous. What a shambolic way to run a football club...
