It seems feasible that CNN did a quick sports round up, since it involves an American sports owner, and someone happen to see it watching it in Canada on an expensive cable package (thanks Rogers!).

yes but would they do that and not have a corresponding story on their website?  I can't see it personally.

just seen this on the Irish  Villa supporters facebook page.

CNN in Canada are reporting that Randy Lerner is in 'advanced talks' to sell Aston Villa.

not sure how true this is....

The girl who strips off whilst doing Live TV news has also just confirmed it.

I read that Blitzer is very friendly with Richard Donner the producer of the Lethal Weapon films.   Now that is what I call a suitable duo to front our club.   Donner and Blitzer.

I've got CNN on a constant loop now and they're talking about comtroversial foods such as horsemeat.

They watched some of our games last year then.

Oh sorry that was horseshit.

I'm happy with the choice of Klinsmann as manager.

What do you mean, they haven't announced it yet?

You ain't seen me, right?

This could be a goer, I think we could see a new business model for the club, kind of a footballing "Oceans' Eleven" with Keane, Klinsmann and maybe other international football stars just coming in in part time cameo roles to carry out the general duties of the club.

Our back four could be the Kardashians - err, Kim, Klunge, Kunt and Klown, or whatever they're called.

I thought about Kompany but he is not good enough. We do have our standards to consider after all.

K(c)razy Eyes would be brilliant on a football pitch. No stamping or sly kicks, annoy her and you are getting soaked!

Klinsmann has got the USA playing pretty good stuff in fairness. Would give him a shot, even for the kudos of such a big name being manager.

Not that it will ever happen though!
