I'm just glad the World Cup is distracting from all this, because it all seems very quiet at the moment.

I would imagine the decision to sell or not sell would come down to a single vote ...that of Randy.
Of course it does, unless of course Randy needs to consult a medium.

"Hey Randy, wanna sell your football team? I've got £300 million"

"Not now man; it's South Korea vs Algeria."

Randy Lerner makes statement about the reported imminent sale of Aston Villa.

If you could read my mind, love,
What a tale my thoughts could tell.
Just like an old time movie,
'Bout a ghost from a wishing well.
Its at Villa Park, a fortress strong.
With chains upon my feet.
But stories always end,
And if you read between the lines,
You'd know that I'm just tryin' to understand
The feelin's that you lack.
I never thought I could feel this way
And I've got to say that I just don't get it.
I don't know where we went wrong,
But the feelin's gone
And I just can't get it back!

Just had a look on Bloomberg and this year his sales of Carnival Corp shares has generated just over $370m.

Gordon Lightfoot. Surreal that he's a Villa fan, but why not?

A bit more stable than some of his boat loads I hope.

Not exactly ITK but I asked an Israeli friend about Micky Arison. The Arison family is one of the most powerful in Israel. They all have dual Israeli - US nationality. His sister Sari owns Israel's second largest bank and many other financial interests, their collective wealth goes well beyond that of Lerner and his family trust.

I wonder if my step-daughter will get a job before we get taken over.

I wonder if she will ever leave home.

Bloody hell it's doubled already. That's the internet for you. I just don't know who to trust any more.
