It has to be said, he does sound a bit dodgy.

I genuinely think he might even fail the fit and proper person test.

Already voted but I suddenly realised you could have had a Del Boy option.

It could be fun!
Anyone know how rich he is?

If Trump is with him expect Aston Hall to be turned into a Hotel with the grounds being turned into a golf course. Its a tacky wacky world.

He would be a good fit for Small Heath.

Let's be honest. If a multi-billionaire buys the club a very small percentage of our supporters will care in the slightest where his money came from.

Trump will probably try to build a top notch golf course somewhere near Sutton Coldfield or something nuts.

Also:

Villa were formally put up for sale by their American owner, Randy Lerner, earlier this month and are expected to fetch at least £250m.

At least 250 big ones? That's the highest figure I've seen anywhere.

In fairness, though, I've got an MBNA card and they are the most predatory, aggressive marketers of debt I've ever come across, so that's an argument that could have been levelled at Randy, too.

Although it was in that case a generation removed, at least, but you get my drift.

I've just remembered the time the General's thread was alive with talk of the rightness or wrongness of online gambling sponsors and I pointed out the potential ethical questions re credit card companies, and the General went absolutely nuts at me.

Not a discussion he was overly keen to have.
