<on TBAR> It's all good, clean fun, but it's really very funny.

It is entertaining but also uncomfortable. I think tragicomic best describes TBAR. That constant need for attention, approval and validation is a disorder and really quite sad. I believe the technical term is HPD.

I may be going mad, what is this six week window? Did I read somewhere that he aimed to sell the club in 6 weeks?

Not sure that anyone has said they plan to sell the club within 6 weeks? I think it may have come from speculation that due diligence in a deal like this would typically take around 6 weeks?

On the day it was announced Pat Murphy suggested 6 weeks.  In an 'I'm told' type way.

It was Sky on Super statement day that said that Lerner was looking for a buyer and hoped to have one in 6 weeks.

Half two, but we're a private company so it doesn't matter.

But but TBAR confirmed an announcement would have to be synced with the opening bell on Wall Street ?! If Oracle bought us or AEG or AIG or Kraft this would be the biggest news in their relative histories as businesses surely . Roll on 230pm .

He's gone to New York in his nuclear sub to bring our new owners to Brum. He will be parking the sub in Gas St. Basin.

First time poster here after being banned from TBAR, it's more of a conspiracy forum over there, they're all bloody mad!

My view on the takeover situation and from what I've heard is that Keith Harris was appointed on the same day as the announcement was made to begin looking for a new owner. Although i would have thought Randy would have put the feelers out a while before that you just never know with him, he's hardly the most astute businessman! Wouldn't be at all surprised if a takeover wasn't completed before Christmas.

Bloody hell, first post and it's more miserable than the weather.  You can leave that bad news over at the Tea Bar if you don't mind!
