I wonder how many go to Mansfield and Chesterfield! I am!

I wasn't saying that I'm worlds greatest fan if thats how it comes across

That's OK then.  Because I am.

I know, the internet voted for you

Is it true we've onlh sold around 6500 season tickets?

are you suprised ?  speaking to a lot of Villa supporters over here from delivery drivers , customers and reps , a lot told me they wasn't going to renew .
Not surprised at all, just was seeing if the number I was told was accurate. I know it's early days but at this point last year we had sold around 10k so were a good 35% down.

Where has that figure come from, I haven't seen anything from the club?

Friday is the deadline for the interest free option, so I suppose that is the point where a meaningful comparison can be made if the the data was available.

6500 had been sold before the season had finished.

Our support will hold up and there will still be over 20000 season ticket holders come August.

Just consider that having witnessed 4 consecutive years of overall dire performances, and especially at home, we still get 35,000+ to show up. Either the most nuts or loyal fans imaginable.

Had a missed call from the club today. I was SATs marking so did not answer. I assume it is about my lack of renewal. Hope they ring back tomorrow.

We renewed a month ago. Clearly I'm far from happy with the sorry state of affairs but I can't imagine not attending most games. If I didn't go I'd be sat at home watching some dodgy stream with Trevor Francis in the background putting us down at every given moment . I'd rather be sat miserable at the ground having a rant.  ;)

I didn't know that so will probably get round to renewing by Friday.

I may be going mad, what is this six week window? Did I read somewhere that he aimed to sell the club in 6 weeks?

Not sure that anyone has said they plan to sell the club within 6 weeks? I think it may have come from speculation that due diligence in a deal like this would typically take around 6 weeks?

Maybe that's where I've got it from? I know I've heard 6 weeks banded around. I couldn't find it in the statement so  it was doin my head in

I thought someone like Keith Harris said that in an interview - that Randy was looking to do a deal in six weeks? But it might have been Eastie.

I would like to place on record my thanks to TBAR for providing me with some of the best internet comedy I've read in a long time. One of their moderators has resigned in the last hour or so leaving behind a statement so long, i'm surprised he didn't hold a fucking press conference.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh....dear.
