Ok I'll admit it....

Takeovers fallen through.

We're stuck with the geography teacher and aiming for 38 points again.

Gutted. I was hanging on your every word.

does this mean the takeover will probably happen next week?

The longer this rumbles on the more likeley we are to be bought up by some cheapskate who never really cared in the first place which is a worry for us all.

I won't believe anything negative about The Takeover until the end of the World Cup has passed and nobody exciting has been noticed landing at the airport or looking round Bodymoor Heath.
And even then I'll give it another couple of weeks.

Thinking about it, if anybody rather than a plane was landing at the airport, that would be a real first.

Well if Randy doesn't manage to sell us , he's bought one hell of an expensive train set.

Our new owners have arrived on a train?

Better be Eurostar, first class.

thats a bit unfair, my wife's uncle Derek has had his train set for about fifty years and isn't bored with it

A Total James Hunt when not acting like a complete flanker.

I entirely believe that and agree. Never though I'd be posting that today. Fair play to you confessing.

Was there any more info on those two planes that trees spotted a week or so ago and everyone was getting excited about ?

Someone was trying to convince me on here that one belonged to the new owners and the other the lawyers, to good a coincidence not to be true that they were both there at the same time

I remained unconvinced

One left after three days, the one belonging to the law firm left at 7.50 this morning.
