well here's a tickle that could be interesting. The Trees has reported that a private jet owned by New York law firm McLaughlin & Stern landed at Birmingham yesterday afternoon. Apparently they have had involvement in the acquisition of sports teams in the past. Just passing it on. Don't shoot messengers etc. No code claret, blue, or magenta.

That tallies with what I've found out, Mitch McDeere has booked into the Hyatt

I see Hymie Frozinbutt of McLeish, McLaren, McNeill and Ellis of Wabash has taken the whole of Mrs Spittle's front room at the No Vacancies At Any Time Guest House at Five Ways.  This could be the week.

the trouble with the Archbishop, Warden, is that he has persistent bouts of cynicism

I'm still signed off work, nearest airport to me is Leeds/Bradford and I'm at a loose end do you want me to head up there and look for any unusual activity? There's always the chance they'll try to throw the internet off the scent.

Less unusual than when they attempt to swim over.

We can sort this in rotation, if you like, Chris. I'm nearby and retired - there's just the allotment to sort first ...

P.S. and what would I be looking for?
