Lambert is summoned to see Randy in the US; after a shit season; 4 days after he's announced the clubs for sale. There' s 3 scenarios

1. Lambert is dismissed
Last seasons performance is not good enough, thanks for your help - you're sacked.
New owners want their own man - he's sacked

2. Lambert quits by mutual agreement
Lambert is told there's no guarantees, new owner (if there is one) may want him or may not, but almost certainly not. He can hang around & oversee the transition or can go now with reputation intact - he quits.

3. Lambert stays
Lerner wants him to stay. Staying has other risks, club is in limbo with restricted funding for new signings, supporters don't want you, other jobs are available, reputation is not currently badly tarnished. There may be new owners, there may not. Against the odds he stays.

Doesn't take a lot on ITK to work out the probable outcome that Lambert quits, and / or gets paid off.
Just so I am sure. So basically you are saying either Lambert goes or stays?

No, what I'm saying is that those on other sites quoting ITK that Lambert has quit are; in my opinion; only stating what is the most likely scenario. That he quits or gets sacked / paid off.

What we desperately need is a pronouncement from Villa Kicks! Only he will provide the info that Admin can only dream about.

Where has he gone?

Tim sherwood along with Moyes is 7/2...lambert still far to keep his job though at 6/4...The betting markets can usually pick up things early and that's why I am sceptical about the rumours that lambert has been dismissed.

I have further news after taking some advice from Damon yesterday. The news is that I ignored him and decided to only use postcrete and not both ground spike and postcrete for erecting the rotary clothes line. I felt that there was no engineering logic for postcreting a ground spike

Once we get to July and the transfer window officially opens he'll be straight in with his Summer 2014 transfer wishlist, headed with bringing Paul Furlong out of retirement and finally securing the services of Jason Scotland... and I look forward to it, weirdly.

You are right of course. I always over-engineer everything.

I once built a bicycle shelter out of 2x2's, slates, lead sheeting and 9mm plyboard and it would have withstood a direct hit from an ICBM, yet failed to shed moderate rainfall.

You lot may think you're the kings and queens of the bad pun, but whilst sitting at the bar in the pub this afternoon discussing important things like which ale to have next with two friends, a posh bloke we know came up to us and said "I see your club's in a bit of a pickle". The immediate reply from one friend was " Branston or Piccalili?". Cue much merriment from us and those around us and a bewildered look from him as he disappeared to the other end of the bar.
I do love spontaneity.
