We need an announcement to announce there isn't anything worth announcing.

Each announcement should be preceded by some sort of alert noise. Perhaps that little musical thing they play at train stations in that France.

When you are perfectly happy with what you have, it's absolutely unnecessary to crave new things. If you always want what you don't have, then you won't find happiness.

Each announcement by LondonBoy is soundtracked by 'Rabbit' on my internal jukebox. Err, lads.

Can we get different coloured flashing lights or sirens based on where the announcement originates? If it is TBAR lights and sounds akin to a circus perhaps.

They should also issue a timetable of announcements, every third announcement to be known as a proclamation and every tenth a deceleration.

Is that in case things are going too fast?

Meanwhile, let us reflect upon the comfort provided by the aphorisms quoted by Rev Rose in this time of trial.

You're right. I'm probably going to finish painting the fence, and put up the rotary washing line my wife bought from B&Q.

Er, geezer.

Oh good. That's my next job. Did you cement it or used a ground spike?
