Read some stuff on TBAR about some random arab bloke who has been tweeting about Khaled Al Baltan, who owns some Saudi club, wanting to buy us.

I google search news for his name, this is the first thing I read. Al Baltan currently owns one of the clubs mentioned, Al Shabbab

Quote
A Riyadh criminal court has sentenced a sports journalist to three months in jail, 50 lashes, a SR5,000 fine, and a ban on using Twitter for three months, for defaming the presidents of two Saudi soccer clubs on Twitter.

The court, in a preliminary verdict, found Mohammad Shanwan Al-Inizi guilty of abusing Al-Hilal and Al-Shabbab on his Twitter account.

Al-Inizi had also alleged that there was corruption and forgery taking place in Al-Shabbab’s youth administration.
Al-Shabbab’s president Khalid Al-Baltan subsequently sued Al-Inizi for defamation.

Al-Inizi said it was the right of the club to sue him, but maintained that there was a long legal process ahead because the court had issued a preliminary finding

3 months in the big house on the hill and 50 lashes for a bit of, errr, "twitter beef" as I believe the youth (and Zane Lowe) call it.

He's going to LOVE this place.

Isn't Al Shabbab the Somali terrorist organisation with a sideline in piracy? If so, I for one welcome our new pirate overlords. Thought they're not a patch on Al Feyed. Only joking, they arrr.

I like the sound of that, how about HR?

I'm thinking something more respectful.

Exulted Comrade, maybe?

There's a chap on TBAR, a founding father from the barabossa valley, who "goes by" the Great White Wallnut. That's exultation, shurely?

i think that's willywombat of this parish who did a massive flounce yesterday when someone suggested "london boy" might not be the AVFC insider he claimed to be.

Is there an expectation of another announcement when tonight's dinner is finished or are we to be left gasping like the serfs we are?

Maybe they're part of a consortium with Krispy Kreme?

Why would they be so bad?

Edit: oh, the debt thing. Having said that, I'm in a lot of debt but I don't ever plan on paying it back so I feel ok.
