There's some proper hero worship going on that TBAR for sure. It's all a bit embarrassing reading people hanging on every word someone who they neither know or can honestly trust utters, like  a revered prophet. He's probably some geezer that works in a call centre having the time of his life.

Do you think the new pre-season fixture with Mansfield is down to the new owners?

well, you could but he'd have to check with at lest two different sources first. As I said earlier, I very much enjoy TBAR but take it will enough salt to turn Lot's wife to stone. The Villa church should be broad enough to accommodate all believers no matter how left field.

Here's an exclusive for you, next season Villa will play two league games against either Derby County or QPR.

I haven't had that fact verified by two sources but it will happen, trust me. I'll be able to confirm which team by the end of the month but my understanding is it will be Derby. Or maybe QPR.

That's great Chris. Have you heard anything about how we plan to line up against either team?

We'll start with a goalkeeper and ten outfield players Des. The plan is to have seven subs and (again this hasn't been verified) hopefully win both games against Derby. Or QPR. I reckon it will be Derby.

I wouldn't rule out a consortium of Derby AND QPR

What have you heard Richard?

Might explain why I'm unable to confirm who it will be, this could get VERY interesting.

You may mock but has anyone actually seen Alex McLeish since he was 'sacked'?
He's in Randy's conservatory frozen in carbonite

Still clutching his letter of recommendation from "Sir Alex".
