Put Lescott, Holtby, NZogbia and Kozak into our first team and it would be a mid table side most likely. Poor as we are couple of injuries come back and a couple of that class of signing and it would survive. Especially with Benteke coming back. I hope as it rightly suggests that Lerner acknowledges the need to invest. An extra 20 odd million in prize money plus the fringe leaving should help too.

Woke up this morning with Friday On My Mind. I'm sure the Lerner family always do a Drive In Saturday followed by a Lazy Sunday so now I'm hoping for a Manic Monday.

Im not worrying yet, these things take time.  I'll start worrying by the end of june, and panicking by about august.  Right now I'm zen.

Worth remembering that in 2008 Man. City were only taken over on the last day of August and then tried to sign everyone in europe for the next few hours.

I'm quite relaxed. Hopefully things will get moving during June.

Me too. I'm calm about it at the moment because these things take time. Obviously the sooner it's done the better but until then it's just a case of wait and see.

If that story is true, I wonder why the previous deal fell through? My guess is he had a quick poke around the internet and thought Villa fans seem to mostly hate each other, have an obsession with bad puns and have no respect for their betters. Trying to keep that lot happy would be like herding cats, I'll put my money into something more respectable like gun running or Class A drugs.

The thing is there is absolutely zero we can do about it so pointless worrying at any time. Que sera sera.

whatever will be will be....

perhaps Doris Day will buy us.  Delia wouldn't like the competition though!

Pack up your troubles in your old kit-bag,
    And smile, smile, smile,
While you've a lucifer to light your fag,
    Smile, boys, that's the style.
    What's the use of worrying?
It never was worth while, so
Pack up your troubles in your old kit-bag,
    And smile, smile, smile.
