I think this sums up why so many people are joining TBAR including lots of people who used to post here. Arrogant, condescending put downs for anyone who has a different point of view to the self aggrandising elite. Go back to the start of this thread and many here were ridiculing the whole take-over story as bullshit. Now it's been proven correct attention seems to have been switched to TBAR'S take on the finer details of who our potential new owners will be and when it will happen. Some folks will look pretty silly if Larry Ellison or Phil Anschults is announced over the next couple of weeks. Anyway, I won't be posting here again, which is sad because there are some good people on H&V, so cheerio and all the best.

Back on topic, rumors that PL will be leaving us in next few days from someone called Hippo on VT not sure if he's proper itk but they seem to believe him.

Anyway if he did leave would that mean a return for Bent, Nzogbia and Hutton? Slate me as much as you want but Nzogbia has skills, Hutton is well hate to say it but by far the best RB we have (watched him for scotland) and Bent is severely lacking confidence, new manager could bring him back to life, he's in his prime 29 and just 2 1/2 years ago was worth 24m. Also the experience could be vital during the sale process.

I agree with you on CNZ, but to be honest, I think those three are going to be history.

I think N'Zog has something to offer, but whatever we think of Bent he's not in his prime now.

In the short term at least, the squad should be stronger in August that it was in May, even without a few loan signings and cheap deals to bolster it.

Bent's worked for four different managers this season and none of them could bring him back to life. Sadly I think his time at the top is over. If Hutton is the best RB we've got, the answer isn't to put him in the team, it's to go and get a new RB very, very quickly. N'Zogbia - I think it's largely down to him - a fully motivated and fit N'Zogbia would be an asset.
