Hugo Drax expected at Villa Park next week.

That's a Bond villain right?

Yes, from 'the Moonraker With the Golden Octopussy'.

A very underrated Bond Villain too we could do worse!

Interesting he uses the word "fickle" in his farewell missive. A final swipe at the fans ?
Think we need a psychologist to analyse his words and comment

Could Odd Job and Jaws be the replacements we need after the demise of Bibs and Cones?

What if the Villa ground gets moved underneath a volcano island?

I see there's a flight arriving from Dubai tonight.

*taps nose*

That's interesting, Dubai is in the middle east where rich people live. Welcome to the site and keep us informed.

I'm taking a flight to Vegas next month. I expect to win a shed load of cash, take another flight and buy the Villa. You heard it here first.

Take that TBAR

*raises fist to the air*

It's becoming clear to me that in these days of super-fast information, most football journalists have about as much idea about what's going on at any given club as you or I, and in the specific case of Oliver Holt, even less.

He's done well for himself considering he was the worlds first crossbred half human/half cockatoo.

I don't think O'Neill's mouth piece was ever going to spin it any differently was he?

In my local this afternoon there were a few Villa in there and not once was the takeover mentioned. Instead the topics ranged from de-tox diets via music festivals ain't what they used to be, to the hottest debate of all, who's the best British song writer of the 20th century.
It was a close run thing but Ray Davies just pipped Noel Coward.

Elton John
Jesus H Christ, how can you compare 'The Village Green Preservation Society' to 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'.
There's a vast gulf between Ray Davies's poetic lyrics and the banal scrawlings of the said Mr. John. who by the way didn't write his own music. He had to rely on some geezer from Lincolnshire.

Elton wrote the music, Bernie the lyrics.

Still, no competition at all. Ray rules.

Add to that O'Dreary's CV post AVFC under the 'stripped back' conditions of HDE is to be admired really.
