As I don't have time to trawl this thread since the announcement was made, is there anything that should give me more hope than: we're up for sale and if no one wants to buy Everton there isn't much chance of anyone shelling out £200 million for us, no more investment, Lambert staying, Championship next year?

Nope.

Various jorno's and "itk" are implying in fact a sale is a done deal but given their recent track record I would just discount that.

If any potential new owner does their research, let's hope they look and realise that even if they invest, on average, £40m a season as Randy has - they'll still be jeered at the Villa.

Which they never would be at the Sty because very few of your 'fans' actually bother going.

The My Old Man Said site appears pretty sure that no buyer has been lined up. Not sure how they "confirmed" it.

Have Trev & Jasper put their bid in for your lot yet?

It still wouldn't be like your lot did when they turned on the Porno Dwarf's son.  Very brave that, picking on children whoever their father may be.

Does anyone reckon someone in the Villa press team decided to call the General for a statement forgetting it was 4 am where he was. (or maybe they did and got Nicky to call to get her own back.)

Or wrecking your own ground when relegated.

Better a jeered owner than a jailed one.
