Unless a sale is going though and he can't announce anything until complete. (Looking for optimism).

the very worst thing imaginable. I hope this sees the end of every so called ITK everywhere that claimed a deal to a zillionaire was done. No change no investment no hope.

Absolutely pathetic. Tell us something we don't know. Every club in the world is technically up for fecking sale. I think we're well aware that Randy has been getting us ready for sale for the last 4 years. What bloody difference would it have made to him to just come out and say it last month, rather than tease the fans?

To be honest after today, and the game yesterday and the shite that's come from them, I've lost any good will I might have had for Lerner and Lambert. They shouldn't be treating us like we're morons. The pair of them can pack up and fuck off as far as I'm concern. What's happened to us in the last 3 years in particular, has been shambolic and the lack of ambition has been terrifying.
It's okay though because we've obviously done exceptionally well this season.

He's got to have someone lined up - you don't just announce a sale with no potential buyer. There'll be a verbal agreement somewhere based on due diligence (he says unknowingly).

Positives - doesn't sound like a man who only decided this recently. Plus a lot of past tense is used.
Fuck it - I'm staying in the believing camp that were sold by end of June

Be-fitting the last 4 years.

Underwelming.

We are where we were 8 years ago. With a shitload of more debt (theoretically).

I think this seems perfectly clear that Lambert will not be getting the heave ho. I hope he jacks it in, because the sooner he does, the sooner he can look for a new job. No potential new owner is going to keep him on.

I appreciate Mr Lerner's personal comments and the fact that he has fronted up and accepted that the task is beyond him. We have a empathic and human Chairman.

However, this is the worst possible outcome really; it continues the uncertainty and sense of drift and clarifies nothing.

I sincerely hope he has some options in the wings or next season will be a bigger car crash than this.

This summer will be fun. Squad already fucked with zero investment. Next season will be very rough.

The Shunammite woman was a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This is how the Bible described her.

In Deborah we saw a leader, in Hannah a prayerful woman, in Abigail an intelligent woman and the Shunammite a wealthy and well respected person in the society. This gives us a true picture of how the Bible views woman.

The Shunammite woman had a kind heart. Keeping your heart right, full of love and empty of bitterness is the secret of receiving from God.

The Shunammite woman used her kindness and wealth to entertain a prophet (2 Kings 4:8-10). She got blessed with a child because of her kindness. This was inline with God's promise (Matthew 10:41).

The Shunammite woman had three qualities that are essential in every woman of God.

Contentment
A kind heart (compassion)
Persistence

I think it's fair enough. What else could he say? He sounds genuine enough - he's tried and failed and he can't do any more, so he wants off. He's left it late; he could have made this announcement after TSM, but I guess he thought that things might work out with Lambert. He's ultimately been naive to think that a club can be run with so little investment, but he gave it a go for a while. Look forward to a new owner in the (hopefully very near future)... Of course, if he can't sell and is still here, with Lambert in the next season, it will be an absolute fucking catastrophe.
