I'm phoning Nichola Keye, she'll know what's going on.
She will be busy on the phone to me asking why I havent renewed yet.

I find it really odd that Faulkner is in the dark.

If that is true then to me it signifies he's just going to say he will listen to offers.

Surely with due dilligence going on, there is no way that Faulkner could not know anything.

I have a creeping feeling we are going to find ourselves in the worst situation - a "want to sell, no buyer" vacuum.

If that's the case it must surely mean no investment beyond they minimum and paralysis over the manager situation

We go again.

I hope its note like the last day of the January window, knowing how bad we were I was gutted we did next to nothing and knew we would struggle.
If he does next to nothing again it will make a very depressing summer.

I hear that the traveling faithful are to be given flags tomorrow in the clubs colours with 'We Go Again' printed on them.

Maybe Randy's just going to leave a note on his desk like the previous chancellor saying

'Theres no money left'

We really can't afford to be left in limbo this summer.

That's the worry. If he intends to sell but hasn't got a buyer yet then it's going to be exactly the same situation next season in regards to lack of investment and relegation battle, and who knows, next season we could go down.
He should say either one of two things next week - either he's found a buyer and we've been sold, or he has no intention of selling and he will stay and invest significant money into squad rebuilding to make Villa be a force again. Anything other than that and I'm afraid we're f#cked.

Lamberts actions and body language at the end of tomorrow may tell much.

If the statement isn't sufficiently upbeat I will be putting a significant bet on us being relegated next season. I'm struggling to think of 3 teams we'll finish above. Burley will have a bounce and the other promoted teams will be strong. Possibly Albion, Swansea, W Ham ... It's a struggle.

If nothing significant changes then it will be another season of shit, in afraid.

Club is going nowhere currently, just making up the numbers.

I think it's worse than going nowhere, we're declining.

The only way it would be any different were if Lambert went and Lerner gave the new man 25 million that he then spent very, very wisely and put 5 players through the side that made us stronger squad wise, and then embraced the likes of NZogbia as a creative influence. Then you could finish comfortably mid table.

The statement will start with

'We were asked to advise Aston Villa in a most unusual but I must say exciting project.'

I'm sure ill be corrected.......
