Sure, any particular reason?

Erm, I think you win that one mate! I concede!

I think my ironymeter might need resetting.

Things will move pretty fast after the Spurs match I think, as they did two years ago. The club has been sold to a new owner. I don't think things look good for Lambert as it's clear Lerner hasn't bothered to consult with him much over his intentions, so i think the new owners will bring in their own manager.
What difference would it make if he had consulted Lambert?

It would have given Lambert the chance to pitch for his job with the new owners?
He would need an interpreter that can speak mumble.
They will have done the research including working out the Fans opinion from this and other sites.
New owners and he is toast.

Please God let the day never come when our owners take any notice of what's said on the internet.

Because it's tedious I imagine. Particularly when someone uses it 3 times in a 4 sentence post.

I guess it  would be normal business practice in these circumstances, if there are new owners they will want to get ST,s sold and momentum going, if they think that the manager could have a negative impact they would take that into account.

They'd be bloody stupid if they did.

Pretty sure I only used it once. Any way I will now call him TSM2 if that is OK with you.

I just hope we don't get more of the same PR crap with a representative of the board trolling the sites pretending to be everybody's mate.  Just be professional business people, with a proper interest in football, make sensible decisions, that are designed to stablise the club, invest sensibly and move it forward, that is all we ask.

The guy is 69 years of age - here is a clip from his Wikipedia - looks like he is willing to throw money at "worthy" or in our case" lost causes"
Ellison wrote: "Many years ago, I put virtually all of my assets into a trust with the intent of giving away at least 95 percent of my wealth to charitable causes. I have already given hundreds of millions of dollars to medical research and education, and I will give billions more over time. Until now, I have done this giving quietly because I have long believed that charitable giving is a personal and private matter

It was to follow-up a request made by another Mod previously for reasons of consistency. Not aimed at you personally.

I didn't even see that you'd used the word. It was a general point, seeing as you asked.

No need to seek my permission. You can say what you like, so long as the moderators are ok with it.
