That is precisely what I worry about.

If he's just going to announce he'd consider selling, then we are absolutely fucked, because it's not going to happen quickly enough to put off at least one more entire season of just about scraping by and limping along.

On the basketball theme, I've always admired Steve Nash.  Think his brother plays / played football professionally and he himself is not a bad player.

If we survive this season, look how close it is likely to be. Who on earth wants even more of that?

We shouldn't be this close though and it could be argued that a mixture of bad luck with injuries and managerial incompetence have landed us where we are.  Although a new manager and a few astute signings would probably improve things, I agree that it would need a complete change at every level to shake off the malaise that has engulfed the club over the last few seasons.
