Canada's a great place to live and personally as a non-white person has given me 16 racism free years. I wish I could have said that for my time in England. Now, the winters are cold and long and there's too many French people...

So you are glad no racism in Canada but you have a pop at the French....interesting.

PS just joking

Just the French Canadians. I've got mates in Quebec. It's a joke they can take it. It's the same when I make black and Jewish jokes innit?

Surely in Canada 'innit' is pronounced 'eh'?

it is but I'm tryin' to represent

13 pages?

I'm not sure I can be arsed to read it all. Someone tell me, is it just gags from us about them or is there something worth reading? I really can't be bothered to go on to that site given the likely membership.

A lot of stuff about moustaches, then a little bit of arguing about who is ganging up on whom, a little bit of reminiscing about takeover rumours from the past, then a load of curry puns.

Very little about the imaginary takeover.

It'll all blow over eventually and you'll look back and wonder in 10 years time, that imaginary takeover, did it happen or did I imagine it?

The thread on TBAR is nearly as good as this one. A guy calling himself Felt, claiming to be in corporate acquisitions, says a Man City type takeover is '80% done', that he can't reveal the name of the buyers (there's a surprise) and that he'll post again when he has more information. Better yet, Eastie has taken him completely at face value.

give it some time. Eastie will be calling Felt by his real name, and asking how Marg is doing with her bad back and the little nipper.

It's like meeting the owner of your dreams and then meeting his beautiful imaginary wife.   Or something like that.

I think there will come a time when, similar to the "Doug not so bad" revisionism going on now whereby he's compared increasingly positively to Randy, we will be arguing the merits of rumoured new owners who never actually happened.

250 pages of back and forth, squabbling over whether the Comer brothers or Michael "Semi in Dorridge" Neville was the best almost-owner.

I bet this Felt character is sat in his bedroom, in his Mom & Dads 3 bed semi in Bromsgrove right now pissing himself laughing writing private messages back and forth to Eastie.  Soft lad.
