We look like a side that was put together in Aston Park 5 minutes before kick off. Coats for goalposts.

Thing is, Albrighton aside, they all look as bored with the whole thing as I am watching it.

Not good.

This match so far is highly indicative of what we've become.

Playing an awful side like Fulham, we just look devoid of any quality on the pitch, and when you look at the bench, it is frighteningly poor.

I understand we've got injuries, but injuries happen, and it doesn't take an unimaginable number of them to reduce us to looking this threadbare.

Bertrand and Bacuna in the centre. Weimann fucking nowhere. What a disjointed side.

How many teams will play their full backs from last week centre mid the next?

If Sylla, Helenuis and Tonev are not good enough to play, get shot, and buy people who are! Without Delph and Benteke we look fucking lost, and fair play to Holt for trying at least.

Re Bacuna - he is a right sided midfield player, no more, no less. 4-4-2 on the right - perfect. Anywhere else, and he will get exposed.

I don't trust us to pass the ball more than twice without losing it. Any passage of play in the Villa half is like tightrope walking over the Grand Canyon.

We were always bound to pick up injuries to key players its just the way it is.  That's where the young and hungry model falls down because what's left simply isn't good enough.  It's arguable whether our first 11 is good enough never mind what 's left.

Are we playing for a 0-0 because that's what it sounds like ?

Nothing new there then.

I'm seriously wondering why I bother to watch this crap anymore. It's just awful football for about 90% of the time under Lambert, with occasional flashes of competence doing just enough to keep the hope of some 'bright future' flickering.

And yet here I am.

I'd take a draw now. Draws are no good to Fulham and they've seen how bad we are. They'll go for it in the second half.

First 11 and Bench I figure cost a combined £10mil , we lack quality all over the pitch.I know we have injuries but this is shocking I suspect alot of Championship sides would turn this team over.

Fulham are there for the taking however we keep giving them chances..
