I just fucking hate it when we start to pass it in our own half. We haven't a fucking idea what to do.

That there encapsulated what I mean about Lambert's good intentions but inability to put them into practice. Under pressure they still tried to pass their way out from the back, but any competently trained team would've got the ball into central midfield as soon as they had the chance, and they had plenty of chances. Instead, they were impatient and tried to thread the needle down the channel with a lofted pass, and we lucked a throw. There's good intentions here, but no plan.

Better.  Albrighton's having a fair game

For a side that must win Fulham look rubbish. One goal will win this for us.

So what am I looking at here? It's a straight up 4-4-2, is it?

We're creating a few bits and pieces, get an early goal and I fancy Fulham to crumble.

Not at all, it's gone a bit mad. 4-3-3 with Bennett at left-back, Bertrand in midfield with Westwood and Bacuna with Albrighton and Weimann wide of Holt.

Yeah…...I can't decide if it's fluid and flexible or just everyone looking a bit all over the place.

I think it's accidental (therefore perfect) game theory: if we don't know what we're doing, how will the opposition?

Does anyone genuinely know what has happened with Helenius?

I'm sure I remember a story that he was injured last month, but that might be my imagination. If he's not, I do wish he were playing. I mean, how much harm could it do against Fulham?
