Lambert seems to have got used to losing 4-1, I see no reason why he will achieve anything else.

So OOS that Gabby and El Ahmadi both doubtful, Gabby not a great loss as he has been wretchedly out of form as of late but El Ahmadi has been quietly and effectivly going about his business and been one of our better performers of late IMO. Gary Gardner out again and.......

Probably just Twitter BS but rumour that Tekkers has done his achilles and out for 6 months. Definately jokes though, I remember reading on there that he had broke his leg in an international only to see him clapping fans walking off the pitch 20mins later...

A plucky 2-1 win with Holt getting the winner in front of the Holte.

Looks like the Benteke injury is real. On sky sports and all the major newspapers web pages. Oh well at least we have goals throughout the team :-(

This is the second bad injury in training this season - what the hell is going on?  Terrible news for Benteke though who must have been looking forward to the World Cup and I guess putting himself in the world shop window. I think Villa probably have enough to get through the rest of the season but things certainly just got a lot tougher. I wish him well and a return as quickly as possible.

You just know it will be Holt up front with probably Tonev and Weiman.

It won't but Benteke's heel has.

Assume Baker will be back in ahead of Clark on Saturday?

Shame there isn't an option for neither.

I don't think either are good enough at this level. Better off at one of the soon to be relegated or promoted clubs. WBA or Wolves

2-1 for the Villa, Weimann and Tonev for us. And I'm gutted about Benteke... I was quite confident about the game before that happened, now I'm not so sure anymore...
