Maybe the Texas trip will bring Julie back to H&V

These are the only Midlands grounds in the league I've not been to (excluding Leicester, who we won't play cos they'll be in the same division as us)...

Notts County
Shrewsbury
Oxford
Derby
Mansfield
Cheltenham
Chesterfield

Pick a couple of them please Villa, and play them on Saturdays.

Oh, and chuck in a home friendly against Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Real Madrid. Many thanks.

The US tour will be good. Well, if you are based out here that is. I had a lovely trip down the coast to Portland a few years ago

I think you'll find Texas everything but lovely.

I would love a trip to Texas. I met a lot of batshit crazy bastards from Texas in Vegas. For a weekend on the lash, it will be great

Did I read somewhere that we have a home friendly on 9/10 August?? Presume it will be announced this week if Norwich don't win this afternoon & we are guaranteed not to be in Championship action that weekend :-) :-)

Might go for the Dutch trip myself as I've only been to Amsterdam.

Would also like a friendly against Brighton or Morecambe/Preston (if I happen to be down that part of the country at the time).

Serious though can't think about this stuff right now!

Austin is a brilliant city, San Antonio is okay too. Galveston has a nice old part to it and is near the Bolivar Peninsular which looks like an alien landscape. Those places apart from what I saw having driven a good stretch of it I can only describe the place as dull.

Dallas is a dead town at weekends as everyone bombs back to their home towns as quickly as possible.

Houston - so I have heard - has some shopping malls and little else.

Austin has south by south west music festival - however wrong time of year.

Another one added, this time Chesterfield away on a Wednesday night. Another ground to tick off the list I suppose.
