Good to bad in one half.

Sure I've seen that before...

Gabby would be a good player if he could play football. Baker is always a mistake waiting to happen. Bacuna isn't a fullback. Is Sylla really a professional footballer?

Stoke were there for the taking, but as usual we play well for only a short period of time.

I don't rate baker at all but it's not like we could have dropped him after last week is it.
I believe we just scored way too early, we've switched off since and imploded!
Sylla should not be anywhere near the pitch though. Should have moved Bacuna into midfield instead.
As for Gabby, he's been shit for ages, we gloss over it cause he's one of us however he is more anonymous than Weimann has been this year

Anyone still worried about Lambert jumping to a better job if we don't get his contract extended?

I tremble at the thought at not having Lambert's tactical genius about the place...

Let's be totally honest, though.

Is anyone really, genuinely surprised?

I was talking to a friend about this match yesterday, and said that there isn't really any scoreline, in favour of either side, which would surprise me (without going into the realm of the absurd, 33-33, that sort of thing).

To have two consecutive good home wins, and then to sit around half-arsed whilst Stoke spunk three soft goals into our face, having scored six away goals all season, it's not even remotely surprising.

Sylla really does not look like a professional footballer. There are 9 year olds at my boy's school who can trap a ball better than him.

Just when you start to think, hey, maybe Baker will become a dependable to flight central defender, you get a brutal reminder of his weaknesses.

Yep he is never going to make it, because all the mistakes he makes now are exactly the same as when he first came into the side. He's just not good enough.

I said after Baker was getting a load of paise last week to wait until he plays against a two man front line. Last week, as well as we played we got lucky they had one up front and that one was Torres who is horrible. You can see now with a bit of movement how poor Baker's positioning becomes and how poor he can look. Vlaar can't do it all himself.

Lambert never learns, he continues playing the same players like Sylla and Baker and they continue to make the same mistakes.Either he is clueless or just stubborn.Probably both!

Not sure he has that many alternatives, Clarke has not exactly been brilliant and who have we got to play in midfield?

Too many players having terrible performances.

Has to be psychological, put the effort and concentration in against Chelsea, then turn off against stoke, cannot afford to do that at any level of football.

Clark?

That's not a spelling correction, btw, a genuine suggestion. I think he's better there than he is in defence.

Yep his positioning is so bad, it's not even park level. He hasn't learnt at all and he's not good enough.

I think this could end up being a total mauling.

Inexcusable today.
