'Clappers'

Watching these cringeworthy scenes at Carrow Road. If we ever try to introduce them at VP I think I'd walk out. They're bloody awful.

I've only ever seen them at Fulham before.  They're ridiculous.  I genuinely can't understand why anyone thinks they're a good idea or what's wrong with just clapping.  With your hands.

Knowing the kind of people that are involved in football clubs now, I'm sure there were plenty who saw them and thought they were a great idea.

I thought the same they sound horrendous, then they go and round it off playing music after they score.....dreadful.

Didn't small heath used to give them out so they could all clap along to that ELO tune they played before the teams came out?

I was wondering what they were whilst I was watching MOTD this morning. They did look ridiculous.

I remember going to Southampton when they were new to St Mary's - they hadn't started well and were saying that the atmosphere wasn't as good as the Dell.

They gave their fans those clapper things that night.....and we won 3-1!

Didn't do the team any harm yesterday did it?

I did chuckle at this comment on The Pink Un, however

The clappers just reinforce what other fans think that Norwich fans are all inbred.

Small Heath had them at one time when they were in the Premier League. The Brady Bunch saw them in use at Fulham and replicated it for the next home game.

They weren't very popular though, they had BCFC written where SOTV should've been.

I like normal hand clapping,
especially when the attendance is announced, I love it when everyone claps that

There's a joke in here somewhere about Brady giving thousands of people the clap...

Me too. I also like to shake the hands of those around me.
