So happy tonight, well done my beloved Villa, highlight of the day my brother in law Steve (terminally ill with bone cancer) ringing me after the game and laughing and crying with joy.

It does not matter how poorly Villa play, they will ALWAYS out class Chavski.

2nd on MOTD running order.

2nd.
WTF ! Who's on 1st ?

Hull v Man City

Out of the top teams playing, we only scored one so suppose second is ok.

We're first here in the US of A

@patmurphybbc: Villa Park a classic football theatre tonight. Few grounds in country better for vibrant atmosphere when full & the team's deserving support

Steve, whatever time your brother-in-law has left, may the Villa make him as happy as he was today.  I sincerely wish him well.

This. Very well put.

If at times this season you've asked yourself why you bother, yesterday was the answer. Just beautiful.

Lovely to see Chelsea, one of the most classless clubs ever to grace the planet, heading down the M6 with their tails between their legs.   As for Terry, his attitude stinks and I hope that the police view the video of him gobbing off at the family enclosure.  At the very least it is a "Breach of the Peace" and I would love to see him dragged before three beaks and given a dressing down for his pathetic behaviour.

We need to keep performing at that level though - if we do 3 points against Stoke should be a piece of oatcake.

I'm a big Jose fan but he was wrong after the game about his own sending off.

Yes, Lambert and Gabby were on the pitch along with Jose in the initial melee. However, Jose was the only one who, after things had calmed down, went back onto the pitch to confront the Ref.

I'm actually disappointed that Matic did handle the ball for the disallowed goal. It would have been even more satisfying to gave won because of a a Refs cock up.

Gosh, that's quite the most incredible thing I've seen on here for a long, long time. You are actually a big fan of that wanker? That utter utter tosser? Goodness me...

Disappointed with Terry if true. I've seen a human side to him in the past (Petrov testimonial as an example) and would have expected better from him.
It's a game of football at the end of the day , he's a lucky man getting paid millions to do a "job" - play football. If he's verbally abused the kids and parents that's disgusting.

Him being sent to the stands was harsh in isolation, but watching it back on MOTD, he got in the ear of the forth ref before and during the game, waving imaginary cards in the air and squaring up to Lambert.

I believe it was a bit of payback from the ref.

What's the story behind Terry?

And can anyone find a gif of Delph's goal in it's entirety including the tackle and dribble?

Best I can find.
