So happy tonight, well done my beloved Villa, highlight of the day my brother in law Steve (terminally ill with bone cancer) ringing me after the game and laughing and crying with joy.

That's fantastic Steve.

Joe Bennett looked so sharp and up for it right from the start.

Amazing stuff, I can't quite believe it. Delph will steal the headlines but I thought the back four were all superb. I can only remember Hazard getting past Bacuna once, Bennett showed much better positional awareness than usual and Baker was very solid.

I've heavily criticized Lambert pretty much all season but he got things spot on today. Tactics, team selection and subs. Full marks to him and every single player.

The fact that it was against Chelsea who I absolutely detest just makes it even sweeter.

He's John Terry. Surely that's enough?

Just watched MOTD and cannot believe Shearers belief Bennett should have been sent off. He even shows the trajectory of the ball which is clearly was at from goal EVEN IF Vlaar is not also in attendance. Shocking punditry.

If enough people complain, is there any chance Terry could into hot water with the FA.
Gobbing off at the fans when you're getting a bit of stick is one thing.
Telling people in the family enclosure to "fuck off" is something else entirely.

He truly is the King of Classless ******.

Correct - he is talking utter utter shite. The ball is going away from goal - a long way based on the final touch.

Chelsea are incredibly classless, that's what they do. It is their shtick.

Great performance and result today. When we play with real confidence, we are so much better.

Also, noticeable today how hard we worked to close them down and get the ball back when we didn't have it. That, for me, has been the obvious common factor in most of our wins this season. We need to do it more.

Seems out of character from Terry to gob off at families ?
